Since this Christmas did not get blogged I decided instead to share a sprinkling of the fun times we had this holiday season. (I especially like the "kids" playing with the legos.)

One imporant event and one fun event

So, with Shanalee's help I am back on the blog. Here are two events I thought should be documented. 1. Todd graduated from BYU Idaho in December. CONGRATULATIONS!!! (We really are very proud of you) 2. Shanalee was crowned "Game Champion of the World" at our annual New Year's Eve championship game night. MiKell, last year's champion, was here to crown her. What excitment!

David and I have been happily married for 39 years. We have the 6 best kids in the world who have turned out to be quite exceptional adults despite having us for parents. And to make it even better, these 6 exceptional kids have married 6 exceptional spouses. Thus it stands to reason that our grandchildren are also exceptional. (I am really not prejudice, this is all true) David and I love life, each other, and the Lord. We are currently serving a mission in Taichung Taiwan and loving it. We miss our 21 grandkids but trust their parents to do a fine job rearing them without us there to help.

We are so grateful to all those wonderful people who have been important in our lives and had such positive influence on us and our children. Thank you.

Thur. Dec 2 - 3 hours (began putting walls together)
Wed. Dec 1 - 3 hours (poured the candy windows)
Tues. Nov. 30 - 1 hour (made, baked and cut one more batch of gingerbread for a total of 17 batches)
Mon., Nov. 29 - 1 hour (finished baking and cutting)
Sun., Nov. 28 - .5 hours (made more gingerbread)
Sat., Nov. 27 - 3 hours (more baking and cutting)
Fri., Nov. 26 - 3 hours (continued baking and cutting gingerbread pieces)
Thur., Nov.25 - 1.5 hours (began baking gingerbread)
Mon., Nov. 22 - 3 hours (made the rest of the gingerbread-15 batches all together)
Sat., Nov. 20 - 1 hour (began making gingerbread)
