Something Beautiful

I got a call from my Dad last week. "Come quick" he said, "I need your camera". His Christmas Cactus was in glorious bloom and he knew it wouldn't last long. It bloomed late this year and he was afraid it wasn't going to bloom at all, but I have never seen so many blooms on it at once. It is truly a beautiful plant!

The photos don't do it justice. It's gorgeous!

David and I have been happily married for 39 years. We have the 6 best kids in the world who have turned out to be quite exceptional adults despite having us for parents. And to make it even better, these 6 exceptional kids have married 6 exceptional spouses. Thus it stands to reason that our grandchildren are also exceptional. (I am really not prejudice, this is all true) David and I love life, each other, and the Lord. We are currently serving a mission in Taichung Taiwan and loving it. We miss our 21 grandkids but trust their parents to do a fine job rearing them without us there to help.

We are so grateful to all those wonderful people who have been important in our lives and had such positive influence on us and our children. Thank you.
