4th of July fun

We started the day with breakfast at the Iona square. Kyle and Brett and their families joined us

In the evening we went down by the temple to watch the fireworks. David and I arrived early to save a spot. Todd and Bethany rode their bikes in. Brett and Leslie joined us too.

We had fun waiting all afternoon - kids find all kinds of things to keep busy with - like gramdpa and grandma's hats.. The fireworks this year were great!

David and I have been happily married for 39 years. We have the 6 best kids in the world who have turned out to be quite exceptional adults despite having us for parents. And to make it even better, these 6 exceptional kids have married 6 exceptional spouses. Thus it stands to reason that our grandchildren are also exceptional. (I am really not prejudice, this is all true) David and I love life, each other, and the Lord. We are currently serving a mission in Taichung Taiwan and loving it. We miss our 21 grandkids but trust their parents to do a fine job rearing them without us there to help.

We are so grateful to all those wonderful people who have been important in our lives and had such positive influence on us and our children. Thank you.
